SUBJECTIZING THE DISASTER RISK REDUCTION MANAGEMENT AS FOR HUMANITY SCIENCE COURSE FACULTY

The Federation of Somalia Universities (FESU) is excited to disseminate that her member Universities are starting this year of 2024 Traini Courses for Humanity Science and DRR Management. The Solutions for Disaster and Climate Resilience Academic Subject is interested in which obtaining students and CSOs participants who are encouraged to learn for this enriching course!

To be centered on the understanding that disasters primarily impact localities, this Faculty course emphasizes that the grassroots level is often most affected by disaster repercussions. Strengthening local measures for disaster prevention, response, and recovery is paramount to shield communities and safeguard institutional and organizational commitments to them.

This training equips attendees with the expertise to uplift and fortify communities in disaster prevention, response, and recovery endeavors. As part of the national Zero-project Edu-curriculum, participants will engage in a scenario-driven activity, enabling them to apply their acquired knowledge when transitioning back to their professional settings.

This HS-DRR Faculty will be based on six (6) models academically by enriching the acquired learners’ knowledge capacity and paving the way Somalia to be a nation far-from such renewal draughts, famine and climate change dries.
