Working with local communities and forming partnerships at the global level for capacity building and training\/education will be the focus of the discussion with experts from universities, private sector and civil society.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Recognizing that research, knowledge transfer, and community engagement are essential for the achievement of all of the Sustainable Development Goals, and that SDG 6 is under review at this year\u2019s HLPF, this side event will explore best practices in water sector capacity building from around the world, including a focus on partnerships (with educational institutions, local governments, NGOs, etc.) as an accelerator for action.<\/p>\n\n\n
