Recently there is another initiatives like UNAI acting wharever under UNESCO without clear MOU among them apart from the reality for UN agenciesm similarity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Haver looked what UNAI is did over the past moments, Since 2010, UNAI has created a vibrant and diverse network of students, academics, scientists, researchers, think tanks, institutions of higher education, continuing education and educational associations. There are over 1,600 member institutions in more than 150 countries that reach over 25 million people in the education and research sectors around the world representing a global diversity of regions and a thematic wealth of disciplines.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On 13<sup>th<\/sup> July 2023, UNESCO said \u201cMember States are encouraged to develop and implement \u2018country initiative\u2019 to mainstream ESD in the country\u2019s efforts made for pursuing sustainable development. The country initiative on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.unesco.org\/en\/education-sustainable-development\/country-initiatives\">ESD<\/a> for 2030 is to have a national scope, which includes activities that have or potentially could have country-wide impact. It can build on existing activities related to ESD or create a new initiative if necessary, in the context of SDG 4 contributions (e.g. curriculum review, teacher development, etc.) and expand them where possible\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cTherefore, a country initiative will be considered as an umbrella initiative which typically include as many on-going ESD activities in the country as possible and also some new activities, in order to foster synergies. It is encouraged that the design process of this umbrella multi-stakeholder country initiative would be led by the national government education authority (Ministry of Education) and is coordinated with other related Ministries such as Environment. Ideally, it is recommended to integrate <a href=\"https:\/\/www.unesco.org\/en\/education-sustainable-development\/country-initiatives\">ESD<\/a> for 2030 country initiative into the existing national frameworks on the SDGs, in particular on SDG 4, but also 12 and 13 among others, in order to ensure coherent action at country level. A detailed guide on the design of the country initiative is provided in \u2018country initiative template\u2019, which can be provided upon request.\u201d UNESCO added<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Let us have looked UNESCO paid initiatives which are not support the SDGs approaches in particularly goal 4, the International Association of Universities (IAU), created under the auspices of UNESCO in 1950, is a membership-based organisation serving the global higher Institutions, World Higher Education Database (WHED) in which founded in 1950 under the auspices of UNESCO and also its twin the International Association of Universities (IAU) serves as a global forum to advance higher education Institutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, there a different aims and creation opinions among UNESCO and UNAI according to what UNAI stands for when it comes the supporting SDGs and the higher education institutions in particularly goal 4 which UNAI said \u201cThere is no cost or fee for universities to join <a href=\"https:\/\/www.un.org\/en\/academic-impact\/page\/about-unai\">UNAI<\/a>. The sole responsibility is for each member institution to actively demonstrate support of at least one of the 10 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.un.org\/en\/academic-impact\/page\/about-unai\">UNAI<\/a> principles or Sustainable Development Goals each year.
