Biometric authentication is used in computer science as a form of identification and access control. It is also used to identify individuals in groups that are under surveillance.

What are 2 examples of biometric?

Biometrics (facts, use cases, biometric security)

The well-known techniques include fingerprints, face recognition, iris, palm, and DNA-based recognition. Multimodal biometrics combines several biometric sources to increase security and accuracy.

What are the 4 main types of biometrics?

While there are many types of biometrics for authentication, the five most common types of biometric identifiers are: fingerprints, facial, voice, iris, and palm or finger vein patterns. The types of biometrics can be grouped into two main categories: physiological biometrics and behavioral biometrics.

“Though, leadership is a core aspect of quality in higher education, vital in enabling institutions to respond to complex challenges and social transformation our member Universities are going using Biometrics said “.
