This commitment will look different for each institution, and we look forward to working with you and supporting you to achieve aspirational levels of sustainability for your students, staff and the wider community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As you know, this is&nbsp;a global initiative to firmly embed the SDGs into post-16 education.&nbsp;It is the university and college sector accepting a key role in ending some of the most critical global challenges of our time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The institutions and individuals that sign up are being encouraged to share best practice with other institutions worldwide and report on the progress they make annually.&nbsp; This progress is being then collated and presented at the&nbsp;UN High Level Political Forum.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What&nbsp;should you do as an Endorsing Partner?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is a collaborative effort and it will not succeed unless we all work together, so we need your help by:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1 Our members can \u00a0encourage their students and leaders\u00a0to sign up.<br>2 Share on social media\u00a0using the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/search?q=%23SDGAccord&amp;src=typd\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">#SDGAccord<\/a>\u00a0hashtag and tag @TheEAUC .<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Together we can help create the next generation of change agents and redress the balance between people, planet and prosperity.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>By signing the SDG Accord, you are accepting a key role in fighting global injustice and committing your institution to\u00a0a central and transformational role in attaining the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by 2030.
