Somalia youth face many challenges and there are a lot of factors affecting youth, such as limited employment opportunities/unemployment, violence and insecurity, low education quality, corruption and injustice, and political and administrative institutions dominated by adults in which youth are underrepresented.
However, the Federation of Somalia Universities (FESU) needs to organize a two days workshop on behalf of the World Youth Day scheduled to be August 1 each year in cooperation with the Somalia Youth Network (SOYDEN).
The Mr. Daud Abdi Daud, FESU director General asked a question the executive director of SOYDEN H.E. Osman Moalim Shatah and said “What is the programs that traits the youth needs and do effective positive youth develop programs”?

Mr. Osman Moalim better known as “Shatah” and heads also Somalia civil society organizations in general said “Employing methods of positive youth development ensure we prioritize young adults’ needs and help them build the skills necessary to become productive and successful members of the society”.
