The Cooperation of Islamic Universities (CIU) is a non-governmental organization that has an independent legal character. Its membership-based organization includes 280 Arab Universities at the present time ahead before 2030. CIU’s was established in 2005 upon a resolution issued by the Arab League and the Islamic Cooperation Organization (OIC). The mission of CIU aims at “Assisting and coordinating the efforts of Islamic Universities to prepare capable graduates who can serve their territories communities and preserve its unified culture and civilization, as well as to assist in developing its natural resources.”
FESU members are also happy and welcome in order to follow the process after FESU endorsement while the whole Somalia Universities are also feeling tangible cooperation among CIU members and them. Continue reading
