By signing the SDG Accord, you are accepting a key role in fighting global injustice and committing your institution to a central and transformational role in attaining the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by 2030. This commitment will look different for each institution, and we look forward to working with you and supporting you to achieve aspirational levels of sustainability for your students, staff and the wider community.
As you know, this is a global initiative to firmly embed the SDGs into post-16 education. It is the university and college sector accepting a key role in ending some of the most critical global challenges of our time.
The institutions and individuals that sign up are being encouraged to share best practice with other institutions worldwide and report on the progress they make annually. This progress is being then collated and presented at the UN High Level Political Forum.
What should you do as an Endorsing Partner?
This is a collaborative effort and it will not succeed unless we all work together, so we need your help by:
