Somalia Universities Form SDGs Network!

Despite With a deadline of 2030, there are just 7 years left to meet them. As result of that, Somalia Universities are not almost underlined and made such contribution similar with creation of FESU initiative related to the SDGs.

 Although, they promised to provide the knowledge after 2030, skills and mindsets essential for solving the nation’s sustainable development challenges and the meeting the SDGs is yet upsent and they are not well trained even to establish SDGs centers within their university.

The Federation of Somalia Universities (FESU) started this new initiative just to transform the local perspectives and integrate higher education institutions!

Universities play a vital role in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by providing the knowledge, skills, and mindsets needed to address global challenges. Here are some ways universities can contribute to the SDGs; Universities can equip the next generation of leaders with the understanding of global challenges and how to meet them.

At the SDG Fund, we are starting to see how universities are going to play at least an academic contribution related the key roles in fulfilling the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
